At the beginning of April (11th and 12th) the LIFE SEDREMED consortium received the visit of Dr Yael Meroz project adviser from NEEMO, the company supporting project implementation on the behalf of the European Commission.
The visit saw the physical participation of representatives from Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn (coordinator), that organised the meeting in its premises, Invitalia, Ekogrid and Nisida Environment. The project leaders from UNIVPM, Idrabel and Isodetect joined online.
Day 1 was dedicated to the financial session, which was the occasion to provide the costs justification documents to the project adviser but most importantly to receive precious feedback and advice on how to ameliorate the financial management of the project.
On day 2 the partnership presented the technical progress of the project to the project adviser and confirmed the submission of the first deliverables. The discussion then focused on the communication, dissemination & exploitation strategy with the presentation to the partnership of the first draft graphic identity. A brief discussion on policy and replicability concluded the meeting. A visit to the implementation site was then organised in order to show the project adviser the potential environmental impact of the project.
